For SunPower panel option, you can get a factory direct install option or a Dealer Install option with a 25 year manufactures warranty on all SunPower panels covering Service, Product and Performance. For Panasonic, LG, Q-Cell, Silfab and Solaria option, you get a contractor’s warranty with 25 year manufacturer’s warranty almost all are inclusive of 25 year Product and Performance Warranty with no Service Warranty. PREMIUM PERFORMANCE WARRANTY
SunPower’s Manufacturer’s Warranty guarantees the most power in the industry per panel with a minimum of 87% of original performance in year 25 compared to many panels that will not be working at all in 25 years. Coverage covers removal of bad panels, shipping, flash testing and new panel installation unlike the competition’s 10 year traditional warranty or 25 year deceptive performance warranties.
The New LG Warranty has stepped it up a notch and now also offers a 25 year Performance and 25 year Product Warranty as well as a 25 year Labor Warranty on some panels and options.
Q-Cell offers both a 25 year Performance and Product Warranty, but does not include Service Warranty. This would relate to the uninstall, shipping, flash testing, delivery and reinstall costs if something goes wrong. There is a workmanship warranty offered by contractor.
